About Damned Praise
I'm Jane Douglass. I write and produce music under the moniker Damned Praise, which is also the name of this site and all-around artistic endeavor.
I am a trans non-binary, bisexual, ethically non-monogamous Autist. I have OCD, as well as C-PTSD from a combination of these identities and family/religious traumas. I was raised in the Christofascist death cult of American Evangelicalism in a family dynamic that was both enmeshed and narcissistic.
This is about how I survived, discovered myself, and subsequently learned to love what I found within the context of our modern dystopia.
A big part of that is hyper-fixating on the music I love, so expect a lot of that.
